2017 Tan Uyen open traditional martial art tournament concludes

The 2017 Tan Uyen open traditional martial art tournament concluded on February 19.

More than 100 athletes from 12 units in Tan Uyen town, North Tan Uyen district and Ben Cat town ran for 18 sets of medals in 2 events: performance and combating.

As a result, Vinh Tan commune in Tan Uyen town topped the tournament with 6 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals. Uyen Hung ward in Tan Uyen town with 7 gold, silver and bronze medals; Ben Cat town with 7 gold, silver and bronze medals ranked second and third, respectively.

The tournament helped participating athletes improve their skills for the next competitions and was also a chance for the town’s Center for Culture-Information and Sports to sort out outstanding athletes for tournaments at all levels of the province in the coming time.
