9th provincial art performance-sports contest kicks off

A ceremony to open the 9^th provincial art performance-sports contest 2020 was held at provincial Cultural House for Children on the morning of October 22, in attendance of Tran Thi Kim Lan, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Trinh Duc Tai, Head of provincial People’s Council’s Commission of Cultural-Social Affairs.

The contest has absorbed 330 candidates from 14 units across the province. Co-held by provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids-Social Affairs and Department of Culture-Sports and Tourism, it aims to sort out talent athletes and candidates with disabilities for the province’s team to attend national contests while contributing to making the society get an active change in terms of the handicapped.

*Early October 22, provincial State Legal Aid Center and Dau Tieng district’s Division of Justice coordinated with the district’s Division of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to organize a conference on legal aid for disabled people in Minh Hoa commune.

On this occasion, provincial State Legal Aid Center and Dau Tieng district’s Division of Justice mobilized donors to offer 110 gifts worth more than VND250,000 each to the local disabled people.
