Football tournament marking 71st anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day held

Provincial Department of Culture and Sports has just organized a football tournament to mark the 71^st anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day (March 27, 1946-March 27, 2017).

The tournament absorbed 6 football teams from provincial Physical Training and Sports for the Gifted, provincial Physical Training and Sports Centers, the Centers for Culture, Information and Sports of districts, towns and TDM city. They were divided into two groups to play in a round robin format with the two best teams advancing to the final.

Finally, provincial Physical Training and Sports for the Gifted grasped first prize. Second and third prizes went to Bang Bang district, Ben Cat town’s Centers for Culture, Information-Sports and provincial Physical Training and Sports Centers, respectively.

This was a chance for cadres of the sector to meet and exchange, creating a motivation for them to fulfill a task of mobilizing and calling for people to take physical exercises following the example of great Uncle Ho.
