Press conference on 2nd national “Don Ca Tai Tu” festival held

A press conference to announce the organization of the second National “Don Ca Tai Tu” (southern folk music) Festival was held at Majestic Saigon hotel, in attendance of Huynh Vinh Ai, Deputy Minister of Culture-Sports and Tourism; Le Huu Phuoc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Propaganda and Education; Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee together with central and local press agencies.

Accordingly, the festival will take place from April 8 to 14 in TDM city with various attractive programs and activities, including a gastronomy space, a “Don Ca Tai Tu” contest, a photo competition, an art exchange honoring musicians and artists who have outstanding contributions to the development of Don Ca Tai Tu, an ancient motor parade, a scientific research at provincial level on the sustainable conservation and promotion of Don Ca Tai Tu, tours serving visitors during the festival....

The organizing board also sufficiently answered questions by press agencies on the preservation and development of “Don ca tai tu” in localities at the press conference, aiming to help them exactly inform the festival as well as contributing to propagandizing friends at home and abroad of “Don Ca Tai Tu” art.
