Taekwondo of Binh Duong Province Games 2018 kick off

As a competition part of the program at the 5^th Binh Duong Province Games 2018, from 9 to 11 Mar, Taekwondo officially launched in Thuan An town. The competition had 9 districts, towns and city in the province and provincial Police as participants. The athletes competed in two categories, performance and combat. Accordingly, performance event consisted of men, women’s single and mixed doubles. Combat event consisted of 10 men’s weight classes from under-45kg to over-78kg and 8 women’s weight classes from under-42kg to under-63kg.

At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee will award gold, silver and bronze medals to outstanding athletes in each category. Taekwondo is the thirteenth of the 25 sports of the 5^th Binh Duong Province Games 2018.
