Ben Cat absorbs over US$5.96billion in FDI capital

In 2017, Ben Cat town’s industrial production value reached more than VND78.74trillion, up 16.2% compared to 2016.

The town is now home to 8 industrial parks with 4,030 hectares in total and 1 concentrated production area of 47.7 hectares in Tan Dinh ward. So far, they have basically covered by investors, generating jobs for more than 151,000 laborers.

In terms of investment attraction, in 2017, the town absorbed 409 projects, including 374 domestic projects capitalized at more than US$2.66trillion and 35 FDI ones totaling US$136.4million. Thus, the town has till now had a total of 2,361 domestic projects with a total investment capital of more than VND26trillion and 557 FDI ones with more than US$5.96million.
