Hi-tech animal husbandry promoted

According to Dau Tieng district’s People’s Committee, the district has actively encouraged and supported animal husbandry models towards hi-tech application and sustainable development.

The whole district has so far had a total of 224 farms on animal husbandry, up 9 compared to the same period last year. There have been 188,500 heads of cattle (up 13.37% compared to the same period last year and 3.1 million heads of poultry (up 3.6% compared to the same period last year).

The district’s total area for aquaculture is around 116,000 square meters. The whole district is now home to 13 households breeding 1,871 wild animals. The district’s relevant agencies have regularly inspected the trading, slaughtering and transportation of poultry, cattle and their products…
