Japanese enterprises further make investment in Binh Duong

Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee, on May 25, worked with a delegation of HCM city-based Japan Business Association, led by Kadowaki Keiichi, Chairman of the association.

At the working session, Mr.Liem said that Japan is now ranked second among countries and territories making investment in the province. The province has so far absorbed 286 Japanese enterprises with total investment of US$4.9billion. They have well obeyed the law, ensured environmental issues and taken good care of workers’ lives. Provincial leaders have always accompanied FDI enterprises in general and Japanese ones in particular.

Mr.Kadowaki Keiichi thanked provincial leaders for creating favorable conditions for Japanese enterprises to work while speaking highly of the efforts by the province in improving the local investment climate at enterprises’ demand. He wanted that Japanese enterprises will continue receiving support of the province while affirming that the association will actively call for Japanese enterprises to further make investment in the province.
