Over VND9.4billion in preferential loan disbursed for farmers

Over the past nine months, Phu Giao district’s Farmers’ Association teamed up with relevant units to organize 10 vocational classes for more than 286 members and rural laborers, 43 training courses on sci-tech transfer in agricultural production for 2,200 farmers and 22 tentative models on sci-tech transfer.

The association also mobilized members to set up 19 linkage groups with 147 members, bringing the total number of such groups to 41 with 331 members; 198 farmsteads and 7 cooperatives; considered and disbursed more than VND9.4billion in preferential loan for 320 farmers to develop homebased business; mobilized pesticide and fertilizer companies to sell their products worth more than VND2.9billion for 418 farmers on hire-purchase…
