Province’s agricultural production value up 3.5%

According to provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DoARD), the province’s agro-forestry-fishery production value in the first half of 2018 surged 3.5%.

The province also well realized quarantine in animals, control over the transport and slaughtering of animals. The province’s hi-tech and urban agricultural models in cultivation and animal husbandry continued being fostered with 122 chicken farms, 122 pig farms and 418 urban agricultural production households.

In terms of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction, provincial DoARD has made up a set of new rural criteria and new rural models. The whole province has so far had 46 communes and 2 district-level units meeting new rural criteria and is submitting a document of recognizing Ben Cat’s completion on new rural construction to the central authority.
