Singapore pours US$1.8billion into Binh Duong

According to provincial Department of Planning and Investment, the province has so far absorbed 141 FDI projects from Singapore with a total investment capital of approximately US$1.8billion. Thus, Singapore now ranks fourth in the amount of investment capital among 39 countries and territories making investment in the province. The province has to date lured 2,801 FDI projects totaling more than US$27billion.

Most Singaporean projects in the province have worked very effectively, well realized Vietnam’s policies and laws; paid attention to the lives of laborers; organized numerous activities towards the community. Although only ranking fourth in the amount of investment capital, Singaporean enterprises have made great contributions to the local development of industrial park infrastructure, thereby creating a motivation for the locality to absorb more FDI capital.
