10,250 vaccination doses for cattle, poultry, pets in Ben Cat Town

 During the first months of 2020, the production situation of crops, livestock in Ben Cat Town was stable. Avian influenza, FMD, rabies on livestock, and disease on aquatic animals did not occur, except the African swine flu occurred at one farm in An Dien commune. In addition, the town also vaccinate cattle, poultry, pets with a total of 10,250 doses, equal to 72% compared to the same period last year, reaching 4% of the plan, performed well the animal slaughter control with 26,945 animals, equal to 78% compared to the same period last year, reaching 24% of the plan.

In addition, the town performed inspection of plant and animal production facilities as planned; carried out the plan to guarantee food safety conditions for agriculture, especially to check the veterinary hygiene conditions of  slaughterhouses and business households in the district. After examination, the district authorities detected and fined 43 cases with a total penalty of over VND278 million.
