15 units take part in the open Karate Championship of Ben Cat town

On April 7, Cultural and Sports Center of Ben Cat Town held the opening ceremony of the open Karate Championship of Ben Cat Town in 2019.

There were 15 units in and outside the province such as Thu Dau Mot City, Di An Town, Thuan An Town, Tan Uyen Town, Binh Duong University of Economics and Technology, Tamino Martial Arts Development Company, Ho Chi Minh City Karatedo Club... taking part in the competition, with events of male and female individual performance; male combat, 7 weight classes (from 35kg to over 60kg), female combat, 7 weight classes (from 30kg to over 52kg); absolute male and female champions.

The tournament was to create an opportunity for athletes to exchange experiences and exercise their bodies; thereby, selecting and fostering talents to participate in provincial tournaments.
