18 women awarded the mementoes of “For the development cause of women”

On the afternoon of October 16, Thu Dau Mot city’s Women’s Union held a get-together to mark the 88^th anniversary of Vietnamese Women’s Union (October 20, 1930-Octover 20, 2018) and the 8^th anniversary of Vietnamese Women’s Day (October 20, 2010-October 20, 2018).

At the get-together, cadres of the city’s Women’s Union over periods reviewed the tradition of Vietnamese women, being worthy of 8 golden words “heroic, undaunted, loyal and responsible” given by Uncle Ho. Upholding this tradition, the city’s Women’s Union made efforts to surmount difficulties, actively take part in patriotic emulation movements, especially the emulation movement of “Women actively study, creatively work and build happy families”. There were also many effective models like “Building families with five No-s and three Clean-s” in association with realizing the Project on civilized urban and cultural lifestyle construction launched by the city’s Party Committee, building the image of Vietnamese women with four virtues: Self-confidence – Self-respect – Kindness and Diligence” at requirements of the national industrialization and modernization cause…

On this occasion, the Central Committee of Vietnamese Women’s Union awarded the mementoes of “For the development cause of women” to 18 sisters.
