20th BTV Number One cross-country run celebrating the New Year 2019 kicks off

The 20^th BTV Number One cross-country run celebrating the New Year 2019 took place yesterday morning, January 1, 2019 at provincial Convention-Exhibition Center, with the participation of nearly 8,000 amateurs and professional athletes, which was held by Binh Duong Radio-Television Station and provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The opening ceremony of the event was attended by Tran Van Nam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly delegation; Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; provincial leaders over periods; representatives of leaders of sectors, departments in the province, Vietnam Athletics Federation and donors.

Finally, the organizers awarded prizes to outstanding individuals and collectives. The closing ceremony of the race was also held at provincial Convention-Exhibition Center on the afternoon of the same day.
