2nd provincial festival for high-school pupils kicks off

Early March 12, provincial Youth Union’s Standing Committee held its 2^nd festival for high-school pupils under the theme of “Eighteen-year-old youths celebrate Youth Union congresses at all levels”. Attending the event were representatives of sectors, departments and more than 1,200 pupils in the province.

Twenty-eight pupils with three good points at provincial level honored

At the festival, provincial Youth Union’s Standing Committee honored 28 pupils with three good points at provincial level, 13 outstanding Youth Union cadres; handed over “Lighting dreams of 18-year-old youths” scholarships to 36 poor-but-excellent pupils…

The festival also took place animatedly with such significant activities as a “Ring the golden bell” contest on the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; booths on cuisine themed “Taste of homeland”, skills for 18-year-old youths; folk games…It aims to continue effectively implementing the contents of the “Building friendly schools, active pupils” campaign; raise youths’ awareness of law enforcement; equip them with legal knowledge, social skills and vocational orientation.
