"3 on the spot" measures of production and effective Covid-19 prevention and control

Implementation at many enterprises

Two weeks of implementation of Directive 16 are considered a "golden time" for the southern region for "total attack" to repel and eliminate the Covid-19 epidemic from communities, businesses and production plants. In this campaign, in Binh Duong, many businesses participated in implementing the "3 on-site" option to resolve with workers to overcome difficulties.

At Orion Vina Food Co. Ltd. in My Phuoc II Industrial Park of Ben Cat Town in the past days, 400 workers have volunteered to perform "3 on-site" with enterprises to organize safe production. Mr. Yang Jin Han, Director of Orion My Phuoc Factory, said that Orion has arranged for about 400 employees to stay "to work, eat, and stay at the company". Enterprises have created the best possible conditions for employees to stay and work with the spirit of sharing and cooperation.

The negative Covid-19 screening test results for 400 employees have helped businesses and employees to be more confident to perform "3 on the spot" better. "Under the guidance to prepare the necessary conditions, the company has soon completed the implementation of the "3 on-the-spot" option with the peace of mind maintaining production activities and effective disease prevention and control. Since implementing the "3 on-site" option, it has helped the company maintain its growth," said Mr. Yang Jin Han.

Similarly, at Hung Hai Thinh Co., Ltd. at Tam Lap commune of Phu Giao district specializing in the production of car tires for export, the enterprise has mobilized 100% of workers to stay at the factory to work. In order for 300 workers to have the best living conditions during their stay, the company has invested in more equipment and decent conditions for workers to dine and rest along with an additional support of VND150,000 a day a person, helping to increase income. Implementing the "3 on-site" option, the company has increased productivity and working efficiency by over 10% compared to before while the income of workers has also increased significantly.
At Dong A Joint Stock Company - Thu Dau Mot branch, 600 of the total 850 employees stayed at the factory to work. In addition to the  allowances for staying far from home, the company also offered 4G packages for all workers to connect to the network for entertainment and update of information about the epidemic and convenient communication with relatives and family.

According to Mr. Pham Quoc Thang, Deputy General Director of Dong A Joint Stock Company, on implementing the "3 spot" option, the company has received the attention and guidance from the province and Thu Dau Mot city. The implementation of this plan also showed the determination of enterprises in working together and unite with the localities to overcome the difficult time and maintain the production chain without disrupting as well as creating jobs and stable income for labor forces. At Response Vietnam Co. Ltd. in Uyen Hung Industrial Production Cluster of Tan Uyen Town specializing in the production of wooden furniture for export, in the past few days, it has quickly organized a very methodical "3 on the spot" option to create comfortable working and living conditions and environment for about 200 employees staying in the factory.

Workers staying at factories in peace of mind

Implementing the "3 on the spot" option, businesses have not only taken care of the living and accommodation conditions for workers but also paid due attention to the regime, allowances and support. At Orion Vina Co. Ltd. with a support policy for workers of VND100,000 a day, it has created peace of mind for workers to stay in the factory.  “The company's care and preparation helps us feel secure when staying at work.  The company also always listens to the opinions of workers, we all feel happy, comfortable, and satisfied with the company's attention and support," Ms. Do Thi Tuong Vy, a worker in production division 3 of Orion Vina Company said..

“When being organized by the company to stay and work, we are very secure compared to staying at hostels or moving outside to face many risks of Covid-19 infection. In addition to taking care of life and health, working overtime on Saturdays and Sundays with a salary of 200%, during the epidemic, workers' incomes increased compared to normal state, working with peace of mind. Although it is very difficult due to the epidemic, the company's dedicated care helps us deeply feel that support to stay with the company for long term," said Mai Thi Them, a worker with 15 years of working at Orion My Phuoc Factory.
