300 gifts given for the poor on Lord Buddha’s birthday anniversary

On May 19, Bo De Dao Trang pagoda held a ceremony to celebrate Lord Buddha’s 2563^rd birthday anniversary.

The ceremony solemnly took place with rituals, including delivering a message of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha Supreme Patriarch about Lord Buddha’s 2563rd birthday anniversary, praying for national peace and prosperity…On this occasion, the pagoda also donated 300 gifts worth VND300,000 each to needy people.

It is known that on the occasion of the annual Lord Buddha’s birthday anniversary, Tet (Lunar New Year) festival and Vu Lan festival, the pagoda regularly organizes many charity activities, contributing to well realizing the local social welfare.
