350 members of Di An’s Red Cross Society give blood

In response to the “Pink spring festival” 2017, Di An town’s Steering Board of Voluntary Blood Donation, on February 18, coordinated with HCM city-based Cho Ray Hospital’s Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center to organize the first voluntary blood donation campaign of 2017.

The campaign absorbed 350 participants, comprising of cadres, Youth Union members and volunteers of the town’s Red Cross Society. As a result, the organized collected 302 units of blood, equivalent to 105.700 milliliters of blood.

This was a significant activity in early year, opportunely giving first aid for patients in need of blood.
