7 communes in Binh Duong accredited as advanced new rural areas

The program of building new countryside in the province continues to be promoted to achieve the set plan. The rural socio-economic infrastructure has been invested into; the material and spiritual life of the rural population has been improving through days; social security has been well implemented as local authorities keep on to maintain and improve the quality of communes meeting new rural standards according to the advanced set of criteria of the province.

Up to now, 100% of communes have met the standards of new rural areas, of which 7 communes were recognized for the standards of newly improved rural areas; 1 district and 2 towns have been recognized to meet the new rural standards for completion of the task of a new countryside. Currently, the three remaining districts, including Phu Giao, Bau Bang, and Bac Tan Uyen, are submitting to the Central Appraisal Council to be recognized as the districts that meet the new rural standards in 2019. The average income of rural residents in 2020 would reach VND 68 million a person a year.
