97.28% of pupils back to school after long Tet holiday for Covid-19 prevention

According to statistics by provincial Department of Education and Training, 97.28% of pupils from secondary and high schools in the province returned to school on February 22 after the long Tet holiday for Covid-19 prevention. Thus, around 3,000 secondary and high-school pupils, mainly in Thuan An and Di An city have not come back to school yet. It is known that most of them come from other localities throughout the country.  

The schools are grasping the situation of the above pupils ‘absence. They have also planned to organize classes for these pupils, helping them keep up with learning programs.

It is known that the schools also seriously implemented Covid-19 prevention and control, including sufficiently preparing body temperature measurement equipment, hand sanitizers, soaps, hand wash basins; rearranging desks to ensure safe distance and realizing methods to guarantee pupils’health under the 5K recommendation (Khẩu trang (face mask) - Khử khuẩn (disinfection) - Khoảng cách (social distancing) - Không tụ tập (avoiding crowded gathering) - Khai báo y tế (making medical declaration) suggested by the Ministry of Health…in order to welcome pupils back after the long Tet holiday for Covid-19 prevention.
