Action month for food safety 2019 launched in Phu Giao

Early April 12, Phu Giao district has held a ceremony to launch the Action Month for Food Safety 2019 under the theme of “Say no to low-quality and counterfeit food to protect consumers”.

The action month aims to promote the role and responsibility of authorities at all levels and enterprises in ensuring food safety while disseminating the Law on Food Safety and application of sci-tech advancements in production and business…At the ceremony, Tran Hong Dung, Vice-Chairwoman of the district’s People’s Committee suggested the local authorities at all levels, schools and enterprises to immediately realize some tasks, including being proactive to coordinate with relevant agencies to well realize propaganda activities, raising public awareness in ensuring food safety…

After the ceremony, the town organized a parade through Phuoc Vinh township’s main streets to propagandize the action month.
