Activities raising public awareness of environmental protection held

Since early this year, Ben Cat town’s Division of Natural Resources and Environment has organized 7 training courses on regulations protecting the environment and natural resources.

The division has also held such practical activities as propagandizing the use of ecological bags to protect the environment; responding to the “Clean up the World” campaign…, to raise awareness of environmental protection; implemented a pilot plan on waste classification at source for the period of 2017-2018 in Phu An commune’s 3 hamlets of Phu Thuan, An Thuan and Ben Giang; coordinated with relevant units to set up regulations on State administration in the mineral field in areas bordering Ben Cat town, TDM city, Dau Tieng, Bau Bang districts and HCM city’s Cu Chi district.
