Additional members to Executive Committee and new Vice Chairman of Provincial Veterans Association

On Sep 30th, Provincial Veterans Association held the 9th extraordinary meeting of the 6th Executive Committee (expanded).

In the middle of the last term, Executive Committees of Veterans Association at all levels united and were of the same mind about the implementation of advising role to the leadership; continued to uphold the virtues of "Ho Chi Minh Army", the 30-year tradition of building, growing and developing the association; engaged in the construction and protection of the Party, the State, the people and the socialist regime. From 2017 until now, the association has also encouraged veterans to uphold self-resistance, self-reliance, help each other develop home-based business, improve living standards, sustainably reduce poverty, such as borrowing loans and building houses, the percentage of poor households decreased from 0.25% to 0.03%, the rate of households with decent to wealthy living standards was 77.31%.

On this occasion, the meeting also voted 3 additional members of the 6th Executive Committee, and also elected 1 Vice Chairman of Provincial Veterans Association for tenure 2017-2022.
