Administrative procedure reform at Thuan An town Social Insurance monitored

On August 22, Provincial People's Council sent a delegation led by Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong - Deputy Head of Legal Commission - to survey and monitor administrative procedure reform at Thuan An town Social Insurance.

At the meeting, the delegation supervised the tasks of administrative procedure reform, especially the application of information technology in the settlement of insurance procedures. At present, Thuan An town Social Insurance is also applying professional management software such as file receiving, management of social insurance collection, health insurance, policy regime management, financial accounting software, digital signature.

Since 2016, Thuan An town Social Insurance has implemented the reform of administrative procedures in some prominent contents such as monthly payment of pensions and social insurance benefits through post offices; payment of one-time social insurance benefit through post offices; e-transaction in the collection of social insurance, health insurance, grant of social insurance books and health insurance cards.

At the meeting, the supervision delegation also questioned some contents, proposed effective solutions to solve social insurance debts owed by enterprises, measures to synchronize databases, create cooperative mechanisms between units and agencies to increase the effectiveness of social insurance implementation, to eliminate the use of false papers for unemployment benefits.
