Animal husbandry models implemented

Since early this year, provincial Agricultural Promotion Center has implemented 3 models, including those of breeding quails for eggs under VietGap standards, raising mother ducks and improving the quality of products on milk cows, with 6 tentative points.

After 3 months of implementation, the model of breeding quails for eggs under VietGap standards at 2 tentative points in Ben Cat town’s Tan Dinh ward with around 1,000 quails each has reached good results with the rate of growth at 96.3%. The model of raising mother ducks has also been realized at 4 tentative points with 100 ducks each in Dau Tieng district’s Thanh Tuyen and Thanh An communes. Whilst, the model of improving the quality of products on milk cows in Dau Tieng district’s Long Tan commune has gained 100% of the set plan.
