Animated emulation movements promoted among students, pupils

Upholding achievements done over the past time, provincial Youth Unions at all levels have continued excellently fulfilling programs of the 2018-2019 academic year, creating animated emulation movements among students and pupils.

Since early this year, provincial Youth Unions at all levels have organized new activities for students and pupils, including the “Youths are creative in business startup” festival 2018, the festival for high-school pupils 2018 under the theme of “18-year-old youths with sustainable future”…Provincial Youth Union also coordinated with HCM city Education Newspaper to kick off a program on “Integration skills of the global citizens and how to get access to the fourth industrial revolution” at 12 high schools in the province.

In addition, 100% of Youth Union branches in the province organized a program named “Voluntary spring” for pupils and students at high schools, colleges and universities. This year’s “Giving strength in examination season” program included 27 voluntary squads. Whilst, nearly 1,500 students took part in the “Green summer” campaign 2018 with 23 voluntary squads and 45 youth works, including those of protecting the environment; providing free medical check-up, medicine and gifts for policy beneficiary families; building new rural areas…

Provincial Youth Unions at all levels also created favorable conditions for pupils and students to get involved in the “Green Sunday”, “Voluntary Saturday” campaigns, the “Earth Hour “campaign 2018, the “World Environment Day” 2018’ maintain charity classes; give blood and engage activities in environmental protection…Besides, they also organized young creative movements, competitions…

Tran Thi Diem Trinh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Youth Union said that in the 2018-2019 academic year, provincial Youth Unions at all levels have continued implementing an action program on the Resolution of the 10^th provincial Youth Union congress, the Resolution of the 11^th national Youth Union congress for the 2017-2022 tenure while organizing more practical activities to effectively realize the Politburo’s Directive No.05-CT/TW on “Acceleration of studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle”. Provincial Youth Union will further implement “five-good student” movements…

In the 2018-2019 new academic year, provincial Youth Unions at all levels will continue effectively carrying out competitions, forums and seminars on sci-tech initiatives; take part in improving learning ways, making scientific research and creative business startup. They will also boost activities to uphold the voluntary role of youths at schools; realize practical youth works to celebrate the 10^th national Student Association congress.
