Assoc.Prof.Dr.Pham Van Song appointed as Vice-Principal of VGU

On August 18, Vietnamese-German University (VGU) handed over a decision of appointing Assoc.Prof.Dr.Pham Van Song as Vice-Principal of the school.

Attending the event were Tran Van Nam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly delegation; Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; Huynh Thanh Dat, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Director of HCM city National University; Ha Huu Phuc, Director of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Education and Training in HCM city.

It is known that Mr.Song studied in Germany for many years and spent nearly 10 years on university teaching, research and management. With a new position, he will uphold his capacity and join hands with the school’s teaching and managerial staff to successfully build a new university model in order to help the school fulfill its mission of hi-quality human resource supply, actively contributing to the national development in the period of intensified modernization, industrialization and integration.
