Attraction of creativity movements of the youths

The Standing Committee of provincial Youth Union held the Creative Youth Festival 2017 at Phuoc Hoa Rubber Joint Stock Company. This was also a chance to re-evaluate the effectiveness of young creative movements in the province as well as to commend and encourage individuals and groups to take initiatives and researches to develop new applied technologies in reality, production and life.

It can be said that the young creative movement of Binh Duong youth has encouraged cadres, youth union members, and students to exploit information and knowledge through the internet, forums to promote activities of informatics clubs in schools, workers and public employees, administrative and non-business activities and registration of promotion of innovations and technical innovations.

With the motto of "Each young union member holds a creative idea, each branch has an opinion box, and each establishment is a nursery of creativity", in 2017, the youth in the province have registered and participated in over 90 works, 55 scientific researches topics, and 30 scientific projects earning hundreds of millions of Vietnam dong. In particular, many creative ideas, topics, and works of youths are highly appreciated by the Scientific Council of the province. Phuoc Hoa Rubber Joint Stock Company is a typical group of "Young Creativity" movement which has been very well done. Specifically, from 2012 up to now, the Standing Committee of provincial Youth League has received 110 initiatives and improvements in agricultural techniques, rubber latex extraction technology, production process equipment and products and 9 researches, many of which have been praised at the National Youth’s Creativity Festival. Together with the Young Creative Movement, the movements of saving and innovation have also taken place at all levels of the league with many new models, innovative ideas and researches recommended by members and organizations to achieve high results bringing practical benefits for the company.

As far as the young creative movements are concerned, Youth’s League of provincial General Hospital is another example. Over the past year, Youth League members of the Provincial General Hospital have actively participated in the implementation of scientific researches and innovative ideas. Accordingly, twenty one initiatives that have been approved and graded by the provincial Commission for Hospital Science and Technology and Department of Health. Thereon, the application has brought practical benefits for patients as well as medicine doctors.

Aside collectives, many individuals of outstanding ideas which are highly applicable have brought efficiency to agencies, units, enterprises and community. Typically, the mulching process from waste water treatment system to micro organic fertilizer by Le Quoc Duy, Quality Management Officer of Phuoc Hoa Rubber Joint Stock Company. The project has helped the company solve the problem of sludge disposal, saving about VND 3 billion each year. Or, the initiative of "Recloser communication solution with the machine by connecting cable" by Do Minh Tuan (Binh Duong Power Company) is also a typical initiative.

Tuan said: "During electricity operation, electrical problems often occur while cause and access to data are limited. So, I designed the connection cable and communication between the computer and the recloser transmitter to retrieve data if a grid incident occurs and identify the cause of the power failure."

The initiative of "Industrial Waste Shredding Machine" by Nguyen Van Bac (Youth Union of Binh Duong Water and Environment Joint Stock Company) is also named when applied to production to improve productivity. It also helps to solve environmental problems in industrial solid waste treatment.

Nguyen Tan Dat, permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth League, Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Youths, said that in order to promote the creativity movements among youth league members, the program is aimed at creating opportunities for young cadres and members to promote their creativity and ideas in the fields of study, labor and medicine. The delegation also plan to coordinate activities with the Department of Science and Technology in 2017 – 2020. The forum of "Talented young hands to build Binh Duong a rich and civilized hometown" is also organized. At the same time, active coordination with departments and branches are organized in various competitions, contests and replication of models. In addition, provincial youth informatics contests, creative contests for young people and children, and provincial technical innovations are also practical and useful activities, demonstrating the indepth socialization and education. At the same time, encouraging and motivating students and youth members to actively learn, study, approach and grasp information technology; thereby, discovering and fostering in time talented youths in science and technology.
