Average consumer price index over first 6 months increases by 2.48%

 According to provincial Department of Industry and Trade, the total retail sales of goods and services over the first 6 months was estimated at 131,672 billion VND, up 10.4%; the average consumer price index increased by 2.48% over the same period last year. Over the first 6 months of 2021, the province effectively implemented program to stabilize the market, stockpile goods, and prevent product shortages and price fever. The industry and trade agency established a system and supply chain of goods to well serve consumer demand and prevent diseases.

According to provincial Market Management Office, over the first six months, market price of essential commodities, especially medical equipment for disease prevention control, was regularly checked and controlled. The authority inspected 438 cases, handled 310 cases, collected and paid 2.5 billion VND to provincial state budget.
