Battery GS Vietnam Co.Ltd. awarded third-class Labor Medal

Battery GS Vietnam Co.Ltd. yesterday held a ceremony to receive the third-class Labor Medal of State President at The Mira hotel. Attending the event were Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee together with representatives of sectors and departments in the province.

The company now has a total of 1,449 laborers with total investment capital amounting to US$57million and annual revenue reaching a growth of 16%. During its 20 years of operation, the company made contributions to the local socio-economic development; attached special importance to developing human resources and well realized policies for laborers; offered stable jobs to thousands of laborers with the average income of VND10.8million per capital per month. In the 2012-2016 period alone, the company paid VND383billion for State budget. This was also one of province-based outstanding businesses in environmental protection.
