Bau Bang District to enhance scientific and technological application in agricultural production

 For the purpose of improving production efficiency, increasing value and competitiveness through heightened productivity, quality of agricultural products, and competitiveness of agricultural products, many localities in Bau Bang District have implemented many solutions.

Accordingly, the communes built and implemented key livestock development programs, branding of agricultural products, supported farmers in developing and spreading key agricultural production models. Thereby, many models in the district achieve high economic efficiency, such as: Taiwanese guava, tangerine growing, with an area of 5 hectares for a yield of 118 tons/year; pig raising for pork, yield of over 380 tons/year; Thanh Thuy grapefruit, with an area of 34 hectares, for yield of 200 tons/year... In addition, the district also implemented Decision 04 of the PPC on encouraging development of urban agriculture-agricultural application of high technologies in the period 2016-2020. There are 18 farmers in the district that received preferential loans with nearly VND 87 billion.
