Becamex IDC donates VND 40 billion to Covid-19 prevention and control

In the afternoon of June 14, Becamex IDC signed a funding agreement for the second phase of Covid-19 prevention and control with Binh Duong provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee and Department of Health. Attending the event was Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha, Standing Member of the provincial Party Committee cum Deputy Chairman of the provincial People's Committee.

Accordingly, in the second phase of sponsoring, Becamex IDC offered VND 40 billion including items such as testing machines, equipment, and human resources for mass testing, especially, on the labor force in the large concentrated industrial parks of the province.

At the ceremony, on behalf of the provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha received valuable donations from Becamex IDC. At the same time, he expressed the sincere thanks to all leaders and employees of Becamex IDC who have always been side by side in the socio-economic development of the province and active participation into Covid-19 prevention and control in the province.

As reported in the first phase of sponsorship for Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control, Becamex IDC donated VND 25 billion.

Early June 14, Binh Duong Power Company (BDPC) donated VND 100 million to Covid-19 epidemic Prevention and Control Fund in the province via local Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee.

At the support ceremony, Mr. Le Minh Quoc Viet, Director of BDPC, said that the company wished to join hands with organizations, individuals and people in the prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic in the province. Ms. Tran Thi Kim Lan, Deputy Chairwoman of the provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee, thanked for the affection and sharing of the staff, employees and BDPC workers for the disease prevention and control in the province. According to Ms. Tran Thi Kim Lan, as of the morning of June 14, by campaigning and calling for organizations, individuals and businesses in the province have donated nearly VND 50 billion to the Covid-19 epidemic Prevention and Control Fund of the province.

On the same day, the Relief Committee of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of the province received nearly VND 94 million for the prevention and control of Covid-19 from the Notary Association of Binh Duong province. This is the amount contributed by members of the Pprovincial Notary Public Association to share and join hands with the province in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic.
