Ben Cat marks VBA’s 48th founding anniversary

Early April 17, Ben Cat town’s Blind Association held a get-together to celebrate the 48^th founding anniversary of Vietnam Blind Association (VBA) (April 17, 1969-April 17, 2017).

Established in 1984, the town’s Blind Association has so far had a new head office with total investment of nearly VND2billion. There are now 100% of the association’s members granted health insurance cards, 50 children of members enjoying free tuition at schools…Till now, the association has also set up a massage facility, creating jobs for 10 members with a total revenue of more than VND1billion and carried out loan projects for members with the lending level of VND5milion-VND15million. Most of them have effectively used loans to develop home based business.

In general, the lives of blind people in the town reached basic changes over the past 30 years, contributing to the local common development.
