Ben Cat Town to carry out key projects

To contribute to the improvement of socio-economic infrastructure, over recent years, Ben Cat Town has been investing in capital construction, infrastructure improvement, creating synchronous development in all communes and wards in the area.

The project of town's monument is important to welcome the Ben Cat Party Congress 2020-2025 as well as complete the urban landscape.

To be urgently executed

These key projects not only have political significance but also meet the requirements of local socio-economic growth, creating a highlight for the urban landscape. One of the major works welcoming Ben Cat Town Party Congress 2020-2025 is the construction and redecoration of greenery around the town's monument. Besides, the construction of new headquarter of Ben Cat Town Party Committee is in a rush to be completed in the coming time.

The town square is completed, becoming the venue for local events, festivals and cultural activities. Do Thanh Lap (quarter 1, My Phuoc ward) said that the construction of this square not only improves the urban landscape, increase local aesthetics but also create more living space for people's entertainment, sport exercising. Hopefully, in the coming time, the town would continue to have more works to serve community activities.

Apart from with the inauguration of new works, many works and projects managed by the province are accelerated. In 2020, the town has many projects to be carried out, such as infrastructure construction of cultural, sports and public services center; new bridge across Thi Tinh river; renovation and expansion of road from local Treasury to Cau Quan; to clear the flow downstream of Cau Quan to Thi Tinh river; parks along Thi Tinh river...

Capital construction projects in the area have been urged by governmental bodies of Ben Cat Town to accelerate the construction progress, to ensure completion and handover of the works according to the plan, contributing to the completion of socio-economic development targets.

To stimulate development

Besides the key projects of the town, all communes and wards in the district are urgently registered to build and complete some works to celebrate Party congress of all levels. The most investments are in construction and repair of roads. Mai Van Thanh, Chairman of Phu Hoa Ward People's committee, said the upgrade and renovation of roads in this ward has significance to connect, help people to commute, exchange and transport goods, thereby contributing to stimulating local socio-economic growth, improving people's lives.

Nguyen Trong An, Chairman of Ben Cat Town People's committee, said to accelerate the construction progress, the town People's committee directed specialized departments to actively collaborate with local governments to perform the compensation and clearance work; assigned professional staff to monitor the construction process, avoid delays as well as ensure the quality of works. For new constructions, local governments selected qualified contractor in terms of professional and financial capacity. To transition projects, the authorities recommended contractors to concentrate machines and personnel to guarantee the quality as well as the progress. In addition, the town also facilitates the payment of settlement, advance, disbursement of completed volume as prescribed to accelerate the construction progress.

The finished works put to use not only bring joy to the people but also contribute to facilitate the socio-economic development of the area, showing the heart of the Party and people, promoting the strength of the great solidarity, strengthening the trust in the PArty leadership, cheering all people's classes to build more wealthy beautiful hometown.
