Bicycles donated to needy pupils

Dai-ichi Life Vietnam, on December 12 and 14, donated 20 bicycles worth nearly VND26million to pupils with difficult circumstances in Thuan An town (photo) and 12 others worth approximately VND17million to needy pupils in Binh Phuoc province.

Prior to that, the company offered gifts, scholarships and school things to poor pupils in 20 provinces and cities, including Vinh Phuc, Thua Thien-Hue, Quang Ngai, Phu Yen, Lam Dong…The program will continue being implemented in other localities with a total cost estimated at more than VND750million for 1,500 pupils nationwide.

It is known that along with business activities, the company actively got involved in such social charity activities as providing free eye surgeries for poor patients, implementing a project on clean water for pupils, teachers…with a total cost of more than VND30billion during the 12 past years…
