Binh Duong bags 1 gold, 1 silver on first competition day of national bowling clubs champs

The 2017 National Bowling Clubs Championships was officially opened on the evening of November 6 at Aeon Mall Binh Duong in Thuan An town.

Co-held by provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the General Department of Sports and Physical Training together with relevant units, the tournament will last until November 10 with the participation of 6 teams from HCM city, Ha Noi, Da Nang, Can Tho, Dong Nai and Binh Duong. Participating athletes will compete for 12 sets of medals (6 male and 6 female).

At the tournament, the host team Binh Duong has 18 athletes with a goal of achieving 3 gold medals.

On the first competition day, two athletes of the host team, namely Nguyen Thanh Pho and Tran Thien Tinh, won 1 gold medal and 1 silver medal, respectively.
