Binh Duong grasps five prizes at national science-technology contest

From March 13 to 16, the Ministry of Education and Training held the National Science-Technology Contest for High-School Pupils in the southern region in the 2016-2017 academic year.

The contest absorbed 217 projects in 21 fields from 372 pupils in 32 provinces and cities of the southern region. Among them, 6 came from Binh Duong. As a result, Binh Duong won 5 prizes at the contest, including 1 second prize belonging to the project of two pupils Nguyen Thi Mai Phuong and Le Duy Thuc from Hung Vuong specialized high school. Universities and research centers also awarded 4 special prizes to Binh Duong.

This was a useful playground for pupils with passion in scientific research. The contest also made positive impacts on teaching and learning ways at schools, contributing to forming up flexibility, creativeness and ability of knowledge application among pupils…
