Binh Duong province continues zoning for temporary medical isolation in some areas

On June 17, People's Committee of Di An City decided to temporarily isolate hamlet 2, Quyet Thang quarter, Binh Thang ward. This area has a total area of 1.5ha, 41 households with 150 people and 7 rooms with 20 people. Isolation duration is from 1.00 p.m. of June 16 until finishing the investigation and tracing of all cases related to COVID-19 positive cases in this area.

* On the afternoon of June 17, Thu Dau Mot City's Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control issued a decision to quarantine a part of quarter 7, Hiep An ward, after recording a positive case, which is a man living on Phan Dang Luu Street, the section passing through Quarter 7 (Hiep An Ward) and having close contact with a cluster of COVID-19 cases related to milk tea shop "Co Chu Nho" in Phu My Ward, Thu Dau Mot City. Initially, local government located and traced a number of related cases that had close contact with this positive case. This positive case and related F1 cases were taken to concentrated medical isolation by local functional forces.

* Also on June 17, Di An City Health Center coordinated with Provincial Center for Disease Prevention Control to organize concentrated isolation, and at the same time took samples for SARS-CoV-2 test for three F1 cases, who are employees of Top Chemical Company (Tan Dong Hiep A Industrial Park, Tan Dong Hiep ward) and had close contact with an F0 case working at Binh Duong Waste Treatment ranch. In addition, through contact tracing, the health sector identified 28 more F2 cases related to two F1 cases at the company and have been isolated at home.
