Binh Duong’s youths take action for the sake of the community

During the Youth Month 2017, provincial Youth Unions at all levels will actively engage activities in socio-economic development, new rural and civilized urban construction; put focus on taking care of teenagers, children and promote emulation movements in celebration of Youth Union congresses at all levels for the 2017-2022 tenure.

During the Youth Month 2007, Thuan An town’s Youth Union and its branches will organize “Green Sunday”, “Voluntary Saturday” programs while promoting works on civilized roads, alleys and canals. North Tan Uyen district’s Youth Union will also actively get involved in environmental protection by clearing in-field canals, planting green trees…

Nguyen Trong Nhan, Secretary of North Tan Uyen district’s Youth Union said that the district’s Youth Union will also join hands to build up new rural areas during the Youth Month 2017. Particularly, the local youngsters will upgrade a rural road, build a model canal, carry out a “Green Sunday” program…

In a bid to join hands in new rural construction, Tan Uyen town’s Youth Union is also ready to realize a youth work clearing Binh Co stream, launch actions in response of the Earth Hour Campaign 2017 and make dissemination of information about environmental protection among youths and locals.

Many other volunteer activities will be also realized during the Youth Month 2017. Tan Uyen town’s Youth Union will visit, present gifts to policy beneficiary families; provide free medical check-ups and medicine for 100 needy people in Hoi Nghia commune. North Tan Uyen district’s Youth Union will offer equipment to 10 entertainment areas for children in communes…

Giving care for teenagers, children

Huynh Thi Thu Thuy, Secretary of Thuan An town’s Youth Union said that the town’s Youth Union has set concrete targets for a task of taking care of teenagers and children during the Youth Month 2017. Accordingly, 100% local Youth Union branches will organize a festival themed “Being proud of Youth Union members”. 100% of local Young Pioneer detachments will hold a festival “Healthy and joyful children”. The town’s Youth Union will also organize a program on vocational consultancy for high school pupils under the theme of “Making dreams come true”; introduce jobs to youths…

Meanwhile, Tan Uyen town’s Youth Union will actively mobilize organizations and individuals to build “red scarf”, charity houses for poor cases; give notebooks and scholarships for poor-but-excellent pupils; organize “start-up” programs and offer vocational consultancy and introduce jobs to youths.

North Tan Uyen district’s Youth Union will also bend on education activities such as organizing competitions for youth propaganda squads telling stories about Uncle Ho and groups singing revolutionary songs; a Vietnamese youth festival; a “return to the roots” trip named “Journey to seek red addresses”…
