Binh Duong wins prize B at southern folk music festival

Long An province’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with the People’s Committee of Can Duoc district has just kicked off the 25^th “Don ca tai tu Nam Bo” (southern folk music) festival 2019.

This year’s festival absorbed 120 artists from 12 art troupes in southern provinces and cities. After the opening ceremony, 6 art troupes from Vinh Long, Binh Duong, Tay Ninh, Dong Nai, Tien Giang, HCM city…performed their items. As a result, HCM city and Dong Nai excellently grasped prizes A in the team rankings. Binh Duong and Tien Giang also won prizes B in the team rankings. Whilst, consolation prizes went to Tay Ninh and Vinh Long 

The festival continued taking place yesterday, February 21, with the performance of 6 art troupes from An Giang, Ca Mau, Ninh Thuan, Ben Tre, Long An and Hau Giang.
