Binh Duong youth ready for enlistment

Being aware of the youth's responsibility for building and defending the Fatherland, Binh Duong's enlisted youth are eagerly preparing for military service.

On Mar 3, Binh Duong had 1,772 conscripted youths, who will be temporarily away from their family and friends to go on a mission of protecting the country. A little worried, a little nostalgic, but in their heart and with enthusiasm of youth, they were looking forward to, longing to perform their military service in order to dedicate themselves, to be challenged in a new environment with high discipline to be trained and become mature.

Nguyen Hoang Thinh, a young Party member who volunteered to enlist in Tan An ward (Thu Dau Mot city), said: "I was worried. The military environment would be alien to me with serious discipline, yet I think it's a big school to help me grow up, be tougher, stronger in life. I also promised myself to study and train well so as not to let my parents down, who believe and love me wholeheartedly."

Other conscripted youths eagerly prepared to go on their military service too. Tran Dang Khoa, a young Party member, who volunteered to enlist in Phu Tho ward (Thu Dau Mot city), said: "Wearing the green military uniform, to me it is a pride. A young man has many dreams and ambitions, but must first fulfill his obligations to the country. Therefore, when I volunteered to enlist. I was nẻvous, waited for the day to go, because ahead is a whole new sky, where I have good conditions to train and contribute".

By this time, all preparations for the selection and conscription of young citizens are ready, just waiting for the moment of transfer and reception. In 2021, the whole province had 1,772 enlisted youths. Localities and units agreed to close the list and called up 1,812 youths. With the determination to achieve good quantity and quality, completing the conscription work in 2021, the Military Service Board at all levels in the province strictly implemented the prescribed process; enhanced propaganda so that people and young people at the age subject to military service are aware of obligation of protecting the Fatherland, understand Military Service Law, thereby enthusiastically set out to do their obligations.

In order to ensure the epidemic prevention control, the province proposed three options for transfer and reception of enlisted citizens in accordance with the epidemic situation; not to let the epidemic spread into military units; ensure that municipalities could complete 100% of conscription targets in 2021 in accordance with the regulations and guidelines of the 7th Military Zone.

Today, conscripted youths officially went on their mission to protect the Fatherland. Their rear is mothers, fathers, friends, neighborhoods with beliefs and hopes about the maturity of young persons. The homeland places faith and pride in these elite youths who will build and protect the country as President Ho Chi Minh’s soldiers.
