Binh Duong Youth to be faithful to the Party

Celebrating the 90th anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (3 Feb 1930 - 3 Feb 2020), Youth Union at all levels in the province was exhilarated and firmly believed in the Party leadership. Under the Party leadership, young people in the province continuously train, study and work hard; pioneer, volunteer to build a civilized, wealthy and beautiful Binh Duong.

Binh Duong Provincial Youth Union undertakes the journey "Binh Duong youth remembers Uncle Ho's will and follows his footsteps".

To take care of and foster young generations

Nguyễn Thị Ngọc Xuân, Secretary of Provincial Youth Union, said that youth works of the province was continuously evaluated excellent by the Central Youth Union. This results from the attention, direction and support in all aspects of Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee; the close collaboration among departments, agencies, unions in the province, and the active participation of Youth Union officials, members and young people in the province. Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee counseled Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee to stipulate policies, support schemes, resources for youth works. Party committees and governments at all levels also paid attention to arranging planning and budgeting for cultural institutions. Steering Committees of youth development program in districts, towns, city, and agencies, units, communes and wards cooperated well to create favorable conditions for Youth Unions to organize activities taking care of cultural and spiritual life, helping young people to study and promote pioneering, volunteering role in performing social security activities of their locality.

In 2019, HYPO Council, Provincial Students' Union, Vietnam Youth Federation of the province were evaluated as the leading units by the Central Government. Prominent communication activities comprised celebrations of the 50th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's Testament, series of communication programs at schools, lodging houses, info-graphics and publications to educate and implement Party's resolutions, resolutions of Youth Unions, guidelines, policies and laws...

Voluntary activities involved in building new rural areas and urban civilization were performed extensively, practically and towards grassroots level. Looking back the past year, Youth Union at all levels also did many works of environmental protection, such as planting trees, campaigns against plastic waste and encouraging using eco-friendly products, changing new face to old walls; strengthening the connection and attachment with border units, islands and twinning units, many works in localities outside the province left deep imprints of Binh Duong youth...

Ms. Xuân added: “In 2019, Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee took the initiative in suggesting solutions to improve the quality of youth work and movement in the province to Provincial Party Executive Committee; including the arrangement, organization of provincial Youth Union apparatus, specialized agencies, non-business units; supervision of the planning of key district Youth Union cadres, direction for Provincial Youth Federation Congress. In each content or program, Executive Committee of provincial Youth Union focused on innovating organization form of movements and directing many solutions for these activities to prove its pioneering role".

Constant faith

Towards the 90th anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Party Congress at all levels, provincial Youth Union Executive Committee carried out many meaningful activities. Namely, the festival of revolutionary songs themed "Binh Duong youth and faith in the Party"; 90 journeys of "Continuing the tradition, stepping into the future"; writing contest "The day I join the Communist Party of Vietnam"; provincial online conference learning about the "Historical mission of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the role of union members, young people in building and protecting the Party and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam".

Additionally, provincial Youth Union will hold a meeting to commend 90 excellent young Party members, and a talk about how to improve the quality of Party development among provincial youth. This program aims to honor young members in learning and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; at the same time, promoting the pioneering and exemplary role of young Party members in building the Party, Youth Union, and performing political tasks.

Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee released a publication named "Binh Duong Youth to be faithful to the Party". This publication is about Party congresses, the General Secretary over periods, the course of history, images of journey "Binh Duong youth remember Uncle Ho's will and follow his footsteps", Uncle Ho's teachings, 12 models of Vietnamese youth in the new period, written documents of the General Secretary, President Nguyễn Phú Trọng "Preparing and organizing the Party Congress at all levels to welcome the 13th Party Congress". Commemorative activities enhanced education on revolutionary ideology, spirit of Binh Duong youth, and faith in the Party, upholding the patriotism, dynamism, creativeness, diligence in working and studying, effective implementation of emulation movements in all areas of social life.
