According to Pham Van Bong, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the province's livestock sector is encouraging cold farms, ensuring biosecurity when increasing flocks and re-herds to ensure meat supply for the market, especially the upcoming Lunar New Year 2020.

Besides, the industry recommends that due to the epidemic period, the open farms, the free-grained pig farmers should not re-breed, ensuring the disease does not continue to spread. Mr. Bong said, until now, disease movements have tended to decrease. In particular, there is no occurrence of pigs dying from epidemics in the province.

Information from the agriculture sector, as of October 23, 2019, the whole province had an outbreak of 1,349 households / farms of 83 communes, wards and towns / 9 districts, towns and cities, with a total of pigs died and were forced to destroy 85,361 pigs (accounting for 13% of the province's total). Localities have spent nearly 80 billion VND to support the damaged farmers (accounting for 24% of the estimated budget).
