Bringing mid-autumn festival to workers’ offspring

Provincial Youth Unions at all levels have organized a lot of significant activities for the offspring of young workers, aiming to bring them a warm mid-autumn festival.

Do Van Phung, Director of provincial Support Center for Young Workers said that this was a chance for children to know more about the significance of the mid-autumn festival.

Thuan An town is one of the province’s localities crowded with young workers. Hence, the town’s Youth Union has held many mid-autumn activities, including offering 4,000 lanterns to the offspring of young workers at lodging facilities and pupils at charity classes…Tan Uyen town’s Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization (HCMYPO) has also implemented many activities taking care of children on the occasion of the mid-autumn festival 2018. As planned, the town’s HCMYPO will organize a mid-autumn festival for the offspring of young workers at Thai hoa ward’s Cultural Center on September 22. On this occasion, 30 scholarships will be awarded to the offspring of young workers with difficult circumstances, aiming to encourage them to try harder in study.

Whilst, the Youth Union of Dong Hoa ward in Di An town has also just held a mid-autumn festival with many practical activities, comprising of presenting 200 gifts to needy children, organizing food booths for them…
