Provincial Steering Board of the Youth Development Program, on December 2, held a conference to review the 10-year implementation of provincial Youth Development Program for the 2011-2020 period, define orientations, tasks for the local youth development strategy in the 2021-2030 period.

For youth development in 2021-2030 period getting better results, the province needs to focus on building up strong Youth Union cadres with comprehensive development, especially in information technology.

Pham Nguyen Phuong Tha, Secretary of Thuan An city’s Youth Union said that over the past time, the city implemented many creative ways in taking care of youths. Noticeably, the city’s Youth Union made law dissemination among youths by many forms; organized “weekend street” programs for young workers, festivals for ethnic minority youths…For the youth development program further reaching efficiency, the province needs to focus on organizing dignital activities in line with the 4.0 age at present.

Whilst, Lam Hoang Thuy Trang, Secretary of Di An city’s Youth Union said that the province needs to boost innovative startup activities for youths. Tran Thien Loc, Vice-Secretary of Tan Uyen town’s Youth Union said that the town’s Youth Union will concentrate on checking youth forces and their quality; listen to their aspirations for suitable support; actively give training for youths to raise their awareness, generate jobs for them…

Nguyen Thi Ngoc Xuan, Secretary of provincial Youth Union said that over the past time, provincial Youth Union Standing Committee received close coordination from sectors, mass organizations and relevant units through many significant programs and activities. Provincial Youth Union also made programs, projects to advise provincial leaders in taking care of adolescents in all fields, thereby contributing to the local socio-economic development.

Also according to Mrs.Xuan, law dissemination is one of important contents in the local youth development, so improving law dissemination contents among youths is needed. To carry out the local youth development program in the new period, provincial Youth Union will further build up strong Youth Union cadres in order to continue coordinating with sectors in putting forward appropriate programs, projects…
