Cambodian delegation for women welcomed in Binh Duong

Early August 17, provincial Women’s Union received a delegation of Cambodian Women for Peace and Development, led by Deputy Major of Siem Riep province, member of the Central Committee of the Cambodian Women for Peace and Development.

At the reception, provincial Women’s Union shared experience in doing its activities, especially in protecting women and children’s legitimate rights and interests, assisting women to build well-off, advanced and happy families, constructing a more powerful organization with the delegation.

The delegation also visited a “one-stop, inter one-door” model of provincial Integrated Administration Center, Hoi Khanh pagoda…

*The same day, a delegation of Champasak province’s Businesswomen Association in Laos paid a working visit to Binh Duong provincial Businesswomen Association.

At the working session, Binh Duong provincial Businesswomen Association briefly informed the delegation of its activities. Established in 2004, the association has so far had a total of 100 members operating in the fields of healthcare, education, industrial manufacture, construction…The association offered help to members in production and business as well as mobilizing them to get involved in social charity activities over the past time.

During the visit, the delegation will tour some female-headed companies in the province while setting up cooperation programs between the two associations, aiming to tighten friendship and cooperation relations between Binh Duong and Champasak.
