City’s Youth Federation opens 7th congress for 2019-2024 tenure

On August 10 and 11, TDM city’s Youth Federation convened its 7^th congress for the 2019-2024 tenure.

The congress approved a report on the results of teenagers and children’s movements for the 2014-2019 tenure; targets, tasks and solutions for the 2019-2024 tenure. Over the past five years, the city’s Youth Federation instructed its branches to concretize the movement of “I love my country”; further maintained and improved the quality of clubs, groups’ activities. The city’s Youth Federation also organized many voluntary activities, comprising of the “Voluntary Spring” campaign, the Workers’ Month, the Young Workers’ Week, the summer youth volunteer campaign…

The congresses nominated an executive board of the city’s Youth Federation for the 2019-2024 tenure with 33 members. Nguyen Minh Huy, Vice-Secretary of the city’s Youth Union was elected as Chairman of the city’s Youth Federation.

At the congress, the city’s Youth Federation also received support from organizations and individuals to implement youths works in the new tenure, comprising of 10 houses of compassion worth VND500,000 each, 500 free healthcare vouchers for young workers with difficult circumstances…while donating 70 health insurance cards to poor children through provincial Young Pioneer Organization.

On this occasion, there were 12 outstanding individuals and organizations in the 2014-2019 tenure awarded the certificates of merit of provincial Youth Federation; 20 collectives and 40 individuals with the certificates of merit of the city’s People’s Committee.
