City takes Tet care for policy beneficiaries, poor people

*Thu Dau Mot city’s Division of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs has just donated essential equipment, including altars, beds, tables and chairs, to 7 policy beneficiaries. It is known that with the attention of the whole society, the city’s policy beneficiaries have basically enjoyed a stable life.

*In 2018, Thu Dau Mot city had a total of 98 poor-but-excellent pupils awarded scholarships worth VND287million from provincial Children Support Fund.

The city’s Division of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs worked with relevant sectors to organize 2 free swimming classes for more than 200 disadvantaged children…

*On the Tet festival 2019, Thu Dau Mot city has extracted VND175million from the local State budget to support 350 workers who are not able to return their hometowns for Tet.

The city’s Labor Union has also coordinated with the city’s Division of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to visit and grasp the situation of Tet bonuses for workers at enterprises; set up delegations to visit and offer gifts for workers who are not able to return their hometowns for Tet.
