Coming to the program on popularizing the local tourism sites among Youth Union members 2020, Youth Union members were so interesting when having an opportunity to learn about the local tourism sites.

Numerous Youth Union members visit provincial Museum

Apart from provincial Museum, they visited Tran Van Ho’s ancient house over 100 years old on Bach Dang street in TDM city’s Phu Cuong ward. They also have a chance to know more about the development of carpentry on then Binh Duong land through unique wooden decoration in the house. Along with cultural-historical relics, they visited some traditional craft facilities, namely Thanh Loc bamboo-rattan facility, Xua Pottery facility in Tan Uyen town’s Tan Phuoc Khanh ward.

The province now has many historical-cultural relics, artistic architectural works ranked; long and renowned traditional villages on pottery, lacquer, sculpture…Nguyen Duc Minh, Director of provincial Tourism Promotion Center said that the program helped the local Youth Union members know more about the cultural-historical values of Binh Duong’s people and land. It also aimed to raise their awareness and responsibility in preserving and protecting the local cultural works; help them widen their knowledge in order to become active guides who will introduce the local typical tourism sites to tourists in and out of the province.

Uphold efficiency

As a “smoke-free” industry, tourism is receiving the attention for investment and development from the province. The province frequently popularizes the local tourism sites among people from all strata. Especially, provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Sports, Tourism Promotion Center have coordinated with provincial Party Committee’s Propaganda-Education Commission to continue effectively realizing the above program in recent years.

Nguyen Duc Minh affirmed that the program is one of significant activities in widely and deeply popularizing the local tourism sites among Youth Union members, especially those attending majors relating to culture-tourism…Through the program, they will get more motivation to train, follow and uphold traditions and make contributions to the cause of defence and construction of the nation in general and of Binh Duong in general.
